 The University of Southern California University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (USC UCEDD), formerly known as the University Affiliated Program (USC UAP), at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) offers an APA Accredited Internship and an advanced postdoctoral training programs in Clinical Child Psychology. Additionally, we offer both an internship and fellowship training programs in Clinical Social Work . The training programs at CHLA are based on an integrated community mental health and health psychology model. They are designed to train psychologists to assume leadership roles as experts in clinical psychology in pediatric community and medical settings. Depending on the subspecialty, students may be gaining professional experiences in outpatient mental health clinics, community clinics, schools and/or pediatric hospital units. Through intensive supervision, didactic lectures and seminars, research and program development activities, and ample direct patient contact and consultation opportunities, fellows enhance and develop advanced clinical skills in their subspecialty area.
